The Evansville State Hospital is a psychiatric hospital founded in 1890 on Evansville's east side. Like most of Indiana’s state hospitals, the Evansville facility was created in an out-of-the way place on the city’s east side and given a peaceful campus-like design. The original historic buildings have been demolished, but what's left is a wonderful peaceful park / recreational area

Trail info: 1/3 mile - Nice walking path. The newly graveled path is very nice and helps connect the north west trail that dead ended at the Lloyd.
